The Model 300 runner checker is a portable, battery-powered, lightweight instrument designed for fast measurement of runners at each warp position. Each machine must be pre-wired with a signal collar and reed switch to pulse the pattern wheel or main shaft. A telescoping pole allows the knitter to position the measuring wheels on the desired warp position.  A start switch signals the instrument to automatically count the revs I rack (or half-rack). The read-out box displays the runner directly in inches. Stop marks associated with alternate manual methods are eliminated with the Model 300.
