Appalachian's new digital methane monitor is available in three models to meet your specific requirements.  Designed for easyDigital Methane Monitor

installation on continuous mining equipment to monitor methane gas levels.  The 102A, 102A (diesel) or 202A operates in rugged situations on electrical/diesel face cutting and loading equipment.  Alarm lights warn operator when dangerous gas levels are detected - monitor shuts down machinery when 2% gas level is detected as required by U.S. Bureau of Mines.

The Appalachian system offers the latest advancements in electronics and a solid-state LED digital readout system. Equipped with long-life lamps easy to read the 1/10 digit is yellow and the unit percent is red.

The total system includes the monitor, power supply and sensor.  The monitor is mounted near the machine control bank for operator visibility and access to the reset button.  The power supply is mounted in the machine control box or in a separate permissible box.  The sensor/sensors mounting should be pre-determined for proper operation.

Servicing is simple, the few parts that exist can be checked or replaced. The system includes plug-in components for fast service.

OPTIONAL:
Calibration Kit to set your Monitor with includes a portable carrying case.   This Kit is also one of the easiest to operate on the market.
